Event Registrations

Product Sales (Retail & Online Orders)

All event registrations are considered a non-refundable retainer.

Due to limited seating, venue commitments, instructor staffing, and materials prepared in advance, registrations are not eligible for refunds once purchased.

If you are unable to attend:

• You may transfer your registration to another player by notifying Charlotte Mahjong of the new attendee’s name and contact information at least 48 hours prior to the event.
• For events other than beginner lessons, the replacement attendee must already have experience playing American Mahjong
  

Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right to deny participation if the replacement attendee does not meet the experience requirements for the specific event.

In the rare event that Charlotte Mahjong cancels an event, registrants will be offered either a full refund, or credit toward a future event.

Product Sales (Retail & Online Orders)

All product sales are final.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

• Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged or defective: You must notify us within 7 days of confirmed delivery
• Please include your order number and clear photographs of the damage.

Claims submitted after 7 days of delivery may not be eligible for resolution.

If damage occurred during shipping, we will evaluate the claim and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or other appropriate resolution.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper storage, or minor variations in color, wood grain, or finish (including natural or handcrafted variations) do not qualify as damage.

Product Sales (Retail & Online Orders)

Personalized or custom-made items by Charlotte Mahjong — including monogrammed or custom color products — are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

- No purchase necessary to enter or win door prize. No event purchase necessary

- Alternative free mode of entry: Anyone may have their name added by emailing Contact@charlottemahjong.com with their full name, mailing address and contact information for free. Winner must be able to pick up prize by the end of the event day. Winner forfeits if they do not respond or pick up item by end of event

- Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years old to enter

- Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received

Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined  in its sole discretion. Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

-Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified.

- Door gifts are nontransferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
