Return and Refund policy

All event registrations are considered a non-refundable retainer.

Due to limited seating, venue commitments, staffing, and materials prepared in advance, registrations are not eligible for refunds once purchased.

If you are unable to attend an event:

• You may transfer your registration to another player.
   
• For events other than beginner lessons, the new attendee must already have experience playing American Mahjong.
   
• It is the original registrant’s responsibility to arrange the transfer and notify us of the new attendee’s name and contact information 48 hours prior to the event.
   

Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right to deny participation if the replacement attendee does not meet the experience requirements for the specific event.

In the rare event that Charlotte Mahjong cancels an event, registrants will be offered either:

• A full refund, or 
• A credit toward a future event.
  

All product sales are final.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

Please inspect your Charlotte Mahjong order immediately upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged or defective:

• You must notify us within 7 days of delivery.
   
• Please include your order number and clear photographs of the damage.
   
• Claims submitted after 7 days of confirmed delivery may not be eligible for resolution.
   

If damage occurred during shipping, we will evaluate the claim and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or other appropriate resolution.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, or minor variations in color or finish (including handcrafted or natural material variations) do not qualify as damage.

Personalized or custom-made items by Charlotte Mahjong (including monogrammed or custom color products) are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

- No purchase necessary to enter or win door prize. No event purchase necessary

- Alternative free mode of entry: Anyone may have their name added by emailing Contact@charlottemahjong.com with their full name, mailing address and contact information for free. Winner must be able to pick up prize by the end of the event day. Winner forfeits if they do not respond or pick up item by end of event

- Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years old to enter

- Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received

Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined  in its sole discretion. Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

-Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified.

- Door gifts are nontransferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
