Social events that include "Guided play" or "Instructor lead" means that beginners who have taken Mahj 101 before, will have the option of asking an instructor for help during the Charleston, choosing a line, or any game related question. It is a wonderful way to continue to learn Mahjong and meet other players.

Events will have descriptions of experience level required. If you're new to Mahjong and have taken a MAHJ 101 class but still learning we recommend coming to an event that says "instructor lead" or "instructor guided".
Yup! You just need to know the basic rules of playing. It’s all for a good cause!
That is a great way to make new friends! When you register you’ll be asked if you want to be at a faster or slower table. You’ll be assigned a table with similar speed players to meet and play with.
