Join us for an evening of light bites and open play Mahjong with friends and meeting new ones! Our Charlotte Mahjong events are focused on players having a wonderful time playing Mahjong in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Solo players and smaller groups are always welcomed and encouraged! You'll be provided a table with similar speed players. It is a wonderful way to make new friends and practice playing Mahjong.
Our casual open play Mahjong session in Charlotte is for players who have taken a Mahj 101 class or experienced players. An instructor is available for guidance for new players still developing their Mahjong skills. Instructor can assist in the Charleston, strategy and NMJL questions.

Enjoy dinner at Foxcroft Food & Wine Waverly and/or register to play Mahjong afterwards. If you're a beginner or an experienced player we will save a seat for you. No need to stress about tiles, all mahjong set ups will be provided for open play. Instructor available to clarify mahjong rules, and provide line suggestions for beginners.
We encourage all players to enjoy dinner at Foxcroft Food & Wine at Waverly prior to the event
