Frequently Asked Questions

All event lessons fundraisers are non-refundable. We understand that sometimes life happens! In an effort to be fair, but also maintain fairness to all players, we do our best to mediate options. 

MAHJ 101 

1. For a mahj 101 class you may have a friend take your place at the scheduled class. 

2. Cancellations less than 48 hours from event day are non-refundable

3. Cancellations from 10-3 days in advance from the scheduled class, you can opt to be placed on the waitlist for the next 3 MAHJ 101 classes. You will be notified if someone cancels to see if you are able to attend. After three you will need to reserve a new seat.

3. If you cancel with a greater than 10 day notice you can opt to have your registration transferred to another MAHJ 101 date with an opening. You may only transfer classes one time before then being placed on a waitlist for the next 3 MAHJ 101 classes. Afterwards you will need to reserve a new seat.

Instructor event lessons 

1. If you are unable to attend you are welcome to have a friend take your place. 

2. If you are cancelling with more than 14 days notice from the event, you can receive a refund less fees if all the tickets for the event are sold, in addition to selling out your seat(s). If your seats are unable to be resold you will receive credit to be applied to another instructor event lesson. Once you request to apply your credit to another event, it is then non-refundable. 

3. Cancellations less than 14 day notice are non-refundable.

You are able to return a non-personalized product within 48 hours of receiving it. You must pay for return shipping.

If there is an error or the product is damaged please reach out to us with 48 hours of receiving the item with photos so that we can quickly correct the issue

- No purchase necessary to enter or win door prize. No event purchase necessary

- Alternative free mode of entry: Anyone may have their name added by emailing Contact@charlottemahjong.com with their full name, mailing address and contact information for free. Winner must be able to pick up prize by the end of the event day. Winner forfeits if they do not respond or pick up item by end of event

- Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years old to enter

- Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received

Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined  in its sole discretion. Charlotte Mahjong reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

-Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified.

- Door gifts are nontransferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
