Looking for something fun and different to do on a Wednesday night in Charlotte? Want to meet new people and enjoy a relaxed, social game night?

Starting Wednesday May 6th we'll be hosting an American Mahjong open play at Gilde Brewery in LOSO. Come solo or bring friends to our weekly Wednesday Mahjong Night — a welcoming space to connect, unwind, and enjoy the game. Whether it’s your first time or part of your weekly routine, you’ll be seated at a table and instantly part of the fun.

What to Expect

• High-end Mahjong tiles, mats, and racks provided

• Tables marked “fast” or “casual” so you play at your comfort level

• NMJL cards available to borrow if you forget yours

• Friendly team members ready to give tips and line suggestions

• Weekly prizes and giveaways — no pressure, just extra fun!

Whether you're newly taught or have been playing for years, our Wednesday night Mahjong games offer a fun, social way to practice your skills, meet fellow Mahjong enthusiasts, and enjoy friendly competitive play. Our 8-week leaderboard running May 6 through June 24 gives players a chance to track their scores, earn points, and compete for prizes — all without the pressure of a formal tournament setting. We follow National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules, provide high-quality tiles and mats, and offer a welcoming space for Charlotte's growing Mahjong community.
